Learjet

Learjet is an American manufacturer of business jets for civilian and military use. It was founded in the late 1950s by William Powell Lear as Swiss American Aviation Corporation. Learjet is now a subsidiary of Bombardier and is marketed as the “Bombardier Learjet Family.”

Learjet, a Canadian-owned aerospace company manufactures business jets for military and civilian use. Its U.S. headquarters are in Wichita, Kansas. Its goal is to provide the most modern, reliable, and comfortable aircraft for business travel. As of 2016, the company produces more than 450 business jets annually. Today, the brand continues to be popular, and over 3,000 Learjets have been delivered. Bombardier plans to retire the Learjet model in 2021 and focus on the Global and Challenger series. 

Most Learjets are light jet charters, with more models in the midsize jet charter rental categories.
